Mechanical Features

• The RSS utilizes electronically, individually controlled thrust pads, powered by mud, located close to the bit.
• The individually controlled thrust pads generate the steering vector, enabling precise control and adjustment of the well trajectory.
• The individual pad control system enhances redundancy, ensuring steering capabilities remain operational even in the event of a single pad failure. This sets us apart from competitors whose steering systems would become entirely non-functional with a single pad failure.
